The best Star Wars Lego set combines the best of two childhood favourites and blends them together to create imagination and fun building time.
Although we normally carry out these reviews for and from our kids perspective, I must admit to being a bit of a fan of the original trilogy and have enjoyed the Mandalorian series on Disney Plus.
We have based the review on build enjoyment, finished look and how closely the product mimics Star Wars landscapes, characters and whether the kids enjoyed it.
The Star Wars Lego Set we enjoyed building is the Lego Death Star which is the ultimate fans dream coming with over 4000 pieces to get stuck into, although costly!
A good option for younger children and beginners to Lego Star Wars sets is the X-Wing Starfighter Trench Run Set

Lego is a great toy for introducing patience, dexterity, building satisfaction and encouraging play. We aren’t going to kid you, but as Adults we enjoy building these sets probably a bit too much but it brings back great childhood memories of our own building sets with our parents and grandparents.
Available in a range of sizes it is important to check the age it has been designed for. This helps with the amount of parts and the sizes that they come with.
The sets we have recommended are available at different budgets and for different age ranges.
Please note that most sets include very small parts so please be extremely careful around younger children.
